The Gray Between Black And White

{Sweater: Alberto Makali}
 I've been dying to try the squid ink pasta by Mario Batali since I saw it on the Food Network.  Finally I got to check it out this weekend at Osteria Mozza in LA, and I was not disappointed.  I ordered grilled octopus for appetizer thinking that it might ease my taste buds in for the more "exotic" taste of squid ink :).   I was wearing one of my favorite sweaters which is perfect for a chilly night out.
Wishing everyone a great week ahead.  :)

    1. I know you're a pasta feen too ;). You should try it. It is interesting with a very slight salt taste. It's not fishy but has a mild trace of "sea like" flavor. :)
      I had also tried garlic squid ink bread. I guess the garlic flavor was so strong that I couldn't taste any other flavor in the bread. :)

    1. Those are heels. I should have taken better pictures of the shoes. Maybe next time. :)
      Yes, the pasta is slightly salty :). It is cooked with sea urchin & crab...I couldnt eat the sea urchin but the pasta goes well w/ the crab...Overall, I give it two thumbs up :).
